In a previous post, I shared my concern about a lack of oral language development during the COVID-19 pandemic. To that end, here's an idea on how to use 3rd grade math content to encourage discussion and conversation.
TEKS 3.3B - determine the corresponding fraction greater than zero and less than or equal to one with denominators of 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 given a specified point on a number line;

Now, have students get with a partner and choose three tasks below to make a tic-tac-toe.
